If you like to have a cocktail every now and then, leave your cash at home if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Leave your evening bag, your billfold, and keep all cash, credit cards and cheques out of the casino. Grab only the cash you expect to use on drinks, tipping and whatever pocket change you intend to burn and keep the rest behind.
Cynical? Absolutely not. Realistic more like. You might experience a win following a boozy night out with your acquaintances and be blessed sufficiently to hit a long roll at a on fire craps table. Hang on to that adventure considering that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you continually consume alcohol and wager. The two simply don’t go well together.
Leaving your moolah out of the casino is a bit dramatic, but precautionary measures for excessive behavior is a requirement. If you bet to profit, then do not consume alcohol and play. If you like to throw away your $$$$ without a worry, then consume all the no charge booze your stomach can handle, but do not carry charge cards and cheques to toss into the mix of following losses after your dead drunk brain throws away everything!
